This piece is my fanart interpretation of the Ocean Healer, focusing on fluid motion, emotion, and the calm-but-dangerous energy that water carries.
I wanted the character to feel alive — not just powerful, but expressive. The open mouth, tense pose, and floating bubbles are meant to show a healer who isn’t passive, but reactive and protective.

Sketch: Rough gesture sketch to lock in movement and anatomy
Gray base: Value blocking to balance light and form
Base colors: Deep blues and aquas to reinforce the ocean theme
Rendering: Muscle definition, fabric tension, and skin highlights
Light & shadow: Strong contrast to enhance depth and drama
Finishing touches: Glow effects, bubbles, and soft background blur
Background: Abstract water-space to keep focus on the character
