Talking about the beginning of everything we only have two options to go through - the Divine theory or the Big Bang theory. But before great knowledge and wise men exist whom we pertain to scientists, we only believe in the first theory - the Divine creation. In the bible, we can read how God created the vast and lifeless earth and breath into it for life to exist. It explains the actual events of one of the most debated subjects of our current day...the origin of life. Genesis is the first book of the Law and also the first book of the entire Bible. The name Genesis literally means “In the Beginning”.

Genesis merely talks about a Narrative History, and Genealogies. It was Moses who wrote it about 1450-1410 B.C. The main personalities include Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, and Joseph. This book was written to record God’s creation of the world and to demonstrate His love for all that He created.
