This waterfalls is located in our humble Isla del Fuego - SIQUIJOR. I painted this because it is getting popular as a number of tourist visit it everyday.
Time indeed flows like a river, it flows swiftly to the sea. In a distance, we can hear it rushing. When it's shallow it is so loud, and when it's so deep it is so silent. But when it reaches to its falls it is roaring, as it tumbles down upon the rocks with force. It flows and carries anything out to the open sea. The river that flows is really like time, it brings forth life to the sea.
Finished Painting
Sketching using paint brush.
Color Massing - creating and assigning the forms through using different colors.
Applying the details using different brushstrokes.
Slowly filling the shapes until you can get the desired outcome of each shapes and forms.
The final painting, it is not copying the exact photo but as long as you are happy with the outcome of your artwork. Not unless you want to be a photo realist then go and be more patient in copying all the details.
