The haziness circling around my brain is just starting to fade away as I am in de plane leaving Krakow. Steemfest has come to an end and what a journey it has been!
Everybody goes to Steemfest for their own reasons so I guess in the end everybody will experience it differently. People coming strictly for business and are very direct in their networking, people coming to learn a thing of two about the current Steem developments, people coming to promote themselves, and people who just simply want to see what the Steemfest fuss is all about. I am this last category :)
For me Steemit in general was already a 'I came to blog for a buck and ended up staying for the community'. This week was about meeting the community and boooooi I did meet them. What a gigantic social event and I had never expected that so many solistic functioning people would have these awesome group dynamics.
Since I had missed literally all the technical talks due to work reasons (luckily I was able to watch a lot of them on the Youtube stream on Thursday) and only reaching Steemfest on Friday evening the only thing I can write about was the social aspect. And literally the second walking into the ICE building it was like social take off. (Yes, this post will totally turn up as a Tagfest but the thing is…it was YOU guys that made Steemfest for me!!
I think I was literally the last person who picked up her badge and in that process the first person I ran into was 
@firepower who has done an awesome job in being in the organising squad. Soon 
@roxane (who was ofcourse working on her scan streak) came passing by together with 
@daveonarrival and 
@vikonomics. Dinnertime was almost there and I found fellow Dutchies and beautiful souls

@r00sj3 and the man I had already digitally proposed to because of all these awesome Dutch treats he had brought to Polen 
@guchtere. Yes, dubbelzoute drop is not everybody but 
@for91days will be the first one to disagree with this. Gentlemen, I promise to start using the #travelfeed from now on okay, only because you all are so awesome.

@grampo. Thank you again for dedicating some of your time to explain so much during our beer, it got me thinking a lot. 
@jeanpi1908 surprised for bringing his own Keg from Karlsruhe which tasted a lot better than the Hevre draft. Moving back to Alchemia I got into a convo with the lovely Belgian 
@toocurious. Tim, you rock and next year please bring your girl and the little one as well, because I would love to meet them. Good laughs with the always happy

Sunday I took it slow for obvious reasons and the Steemmonsters talk from @toocurious was just perfect in this small setting with

As a lot of people will agree with, it was awesome meeting the lovable 
@meno who had a good red wine game going on there. Back at the Qubus it was a good moment of goodbyes to a lot of people occasionally as well occasionally walking out with 
@felixxx and seeing some Latin American moves of 
@anomadsoul. The danger of an closing party in your hotel? Nightly lobby hangouts, but on the other hand you just have to crawl upstairs to reach your bed safe.
Monday was a day where a lot of people had already left of course but we ended up with a small group in a bar, having a nice chill session meeting Mr Berghaim
