¡Hola, mis queridos amigos creativos! Ya casi llega el mes de octubre y con él una de las épocas más divertidas y esperadas del año. Oficialmente se acerca la temporada para celebrar las fiestas de Halloween, un momento perfecto para dejar volar nuestra imaginación, decorar la casa y sorprender a los más pequeños.
Por eso, en esta oportunidad me hace muchísima ilusión compartirles una idea fantástica, económica y muy original. Vamos a aprender juntos cómo elaborar unas terroríficas y tiernas momias sorpresa utilizando materiales reciclados que seguro ya tienen en sus hogares. Lo mejor de este proyecto, además de que ayudamos al planeta dándole una segunda vida a las cosas, es lo que llevan por dentro: ¡están repletas de ricas golosinas y dulces para endulzar la noche de brujas!
Para diseñarlas solo necesitaremos tubos de cartón de papel higiénico, un poco de pegamento, vendas o tiras de papel blanco y unos ojos elaborados con cartulina color negro para darles vida. Es una manualidad ideal para realizar en familia, pasar un rato agradable con los niños y crear recuerdos inolvidables.

Black and white cardstock
Hole punch

Step by step - Paso a paso
We use the napkins to make the head and secure it with the elastic band, then use the cardstock to make several strips and glue them all over the cardboard tube.
Con las servilletas hacemos la cabeza y la fijamos con la liga elástica para luego, con la cartulina, hacer varias tiras para pegarlas por todo el rollito de cartón.
Then, we make the eyes and mouth out of black cardstock.
Luego con cartulina negra hacemos los ojos y la boca.
If you prefer, you can make small signs with names and Halloween-themed words using cardstock and wooden sticks.
Si prefieren, pueden hacer unos cartelitos con nombres y palabras alusivas a Halloween con cartulina y palillos de madera.
We can also make these cute mummies using string, wrapping it all around the paper roll.
También podemos hacer estas momias tiernas con pabilo y lo vamos enrollando por todo el rollo de papel.
Use the hole punch to make the little eyes; then, insert the treats from the bottom and cover the opening with the tissue paper and one of the elastic bands.
Utilicen la perforadora para hacer los ojitos y por la parte de abajo, introducimos las golosinas y las tapamos con el papel seda y una de las ligas elásticas.
