❤️ Day 2 of Steemfest adventures: We made it to Spain! ❤️

Currently, it is about 2:00 AM in Spain, and I am experiencing major jet-lag... so I decided to make the best out of my situation and write about my first day in Spain! I might even go out to explore after writing this, since people in Spain like to party until 7:00 AM. :)

It took @acromott and I about 12 hours to fly to Spain from California. We had a very pleasant plane ride experience as the seats next to us were open!

After we got off the plane and got settled, we met up friends of friends (locals from Spain). They took us to eat tapas! In the photo, the dish in the front is called "Bravos" and it was my favorite potato dish I have EVER eaten! They are kind of like french fries, but thicker, so you get a bit of crunch with soft yumminess all in one bite.

Here are our new friends with Bobby Joe! :) They were such amazing hosts and we learned so much rich history about Barcelona.

Since we arrived in the evening, we got to see Barcelona late at night. Here is a photo of the music hall! We will be back to see all of the beautiful historical buildings today, when the sun is up!

Anyways, much more to come, as today will be a big adventure for us! Just wanted to check in with ya'll, and let you know that we made it safely to Spain! I can't think of a better way to spend my 27th Birthday.
