Each of the female member of Dobbs group has her own training and motivation. Most are in for self-defense.
"I think if you know why you're training and you stay true to that, then it is for everyone," says Dobbs. Seltzer usually has field work in secluded locations so she wants to be able to defend herself if the need arises.
