These are my Uncle Jim's Charolais in Tonasket, Washington. In 2009, Flat Aiden came for a visit and was photographed exploring several places in Washington State.
(Flat Aiden was a grade school project and caricature of my cousin, Aiden, who lived in Mississippi.)
The Charolais originated in west-central to southeastern France, in the old French provinces of Charolles and neighboring Nievre . . . . Legend has it that white cattle were first noticed in the region as early as 878 A.D.
