Hello Hivers
Welcome to Lussier Hot Springs, located in British Columbia, Canada.
The drive here takes you along a dirt logging road, along the side of a mountain, but the reward is well risk the time and effort.
There are so few natural hot springs anymore, most get commercialised and cement walls are built, and turned into a pool, and you have to pay to enter.
A short hike brings you down to the edge of a river, and the hot water flows out of the side of the mountain.....
people have moved some rocks around and there are 4 different pools, each one colder then the other. It does have an odor due to the minerals but it is therapeutic, and the warm water feels terrific, especially with the cold air.
After being in the water for a while, most people like to take a short walk over to the river and take a quick plunge in the ice cold water and cool off.
It's a great way to spend an afternoon, so refreshing and relaxing.
Thank you for checking out the hot springs with me.
