The Etruscan culture existed between 900 BC and 27BC. It was the dominate force in Italy until around 550BC when the Romans took over.
The museum has some amazing artifacts. The Pyrgi Tablets are a gold leaf with Etruscan writing on it. The Etruscan language has not been fully interpreted as of yet.
