Inside one of the largest shopping centers on the Isla de Margarita, there is a beautiful and large space with several artificial lakes, bridges that cross over them, a waterfall, a lot of natural vegetation that surrounds it and some fish tanks that house fish typical of the island.
You can also see a couple of large wooden sculptures alluding to the life of the sea and the main economic activity of the region such as fishing. When contemplating this piece of art we find a huge fish, which in turn contains some characters carved inside it, which I interpret as the animal that supports them, shelters them, since with fishing activity man can subsist.
Everything that I describe and we can see in the photographs that are shared in the community, happens indoors, is built and designed in a delicate and beautiful way. In that area there are skylights that let in natural light feeding the plants, giving a pleasant feeling of freedom. Around there are several benches to sit, rest, talk, enjoy and contemplate all that wonderful space.
The main protagonists of this fabulous place live in these spectacular artificial lakes: Koi fish. On a large sign upon entering we can read the history of these beautiful fish and where their name comes from: "it is an abbreviation of the Japanese word nishikigoi, which is made up of nishiki, which means "something with beautiful colors", and goi, which is the name applied in Japan to carp in general."
I went to this magnificent place with my daughter and my mother, my little girl particularly loves to visit these cute Koi fish and feed them, she feeds them with a special food that they sell in a kiosk in that same space. We like to walk on the bridges and around it, resting on the benches provided for it. We took some family selfies in the reflection of the large fish tanks that they have, in addition to other species of fish, starfish that we love to observe, it was definitely an incredible and beautiful weekend experience.
Thank you for joining me, visiting my blog, reading and supporting me. Have a wonderful day filled with lots of good energy!
