Yesterday I went to meet some friends for lunch in Delhi. After we were done with lunch, we decided to check out For'est - a Korean restaurant and bakery in the premises. It is located near PVR Priya - an area that was quite happening 10 years ago and is now seeing resurgence as a lot of hip cafes and restaurants are opening up there, or so I was told.
Inside it's a small area and js dimly lit wiht focus being on the pastries and cake. If 10 people enter the shop, it'll be difficult to walk around. I took some pictures of the various food available -
Being surrounded by all the sweet delights, it was difficult to make a choice on what to eat. However in these tough situations, one alwaya goes for the favourite. I got a banana walnet cake for myself.
Banana walnut cake is another of my favourite cakes, Again no icing, nothing, just plain simple cake with flavours I love. This cake was very rich as I could tell from the buttery texture. Sweetness was perfect, and walnuts added the crunch. Could have done with stronger banana flavour I did not want to share qith anyone bht unfortunately had to. This is another one of my absolute favourites, and I usually prefer it for breakfast or a tea time dessert.
I paid 100 INR for it and it was worth every penny. I'll rate this place a 4.5 on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being best
