Hello everyone how are you friends I hope you're all doing well. Today is my 4th day of fasting. Sherz had taken the day off so she made different dishes at home including some special items for iftar breaking the fast.

She made chicken biryani murgh chicken dish and custard. Sherz also made raita yogurt side dish which was very yummy and tasty.

I didn't fast because I'm pregnant so I couldn't keep the fast.

We started preparing around 4 pm. First we made biryani. We fried the chicken in oil then added ginger and garlic paste yogurt and lots of spices.

We boiled the rice adding cumin seeds and carrots and cooked it until it was half done. Once both the chicken and rice were ready we mixed them together and topped it with tomatoes lemon and fried onions.

After the biryani was ready I prepared the murgh chicken dish and custard. First I boiled the milk and when it was hot I added it to the custard mixture. I kept stirring the custard until it was cooked. Once it was done I added it to the milk and let it cool. Then I refrigerated it.

Next I chopped almonds pistachios and other nuts and added them to the custard finally. It's really easy to make
Since Sherz was home today I had a lot of fun working together in the kitchen. We were chatting and laughing together and time passed quickly. Before we knew it everything was ready
