When it is just you and the sidewalk that gives you some time to breathe. A little break during a chaotic ER duty that you have been going on since the morning. It can be way relaxing when you go out for a walk outside the hospital corridors.
As you can relate the above pictures. One seems full of life while the other seems a bit calm. That is how the environment affects your life. According to recent studies, your mood is greatly influenced by the surroundings you spent your time in.
As we know, everything demands energy to function properly. Be it material things or human brain. Personally, I have done way hectic duties lasting 30 hours straight with no break at all. At those times, my brain, the sanity organ, would just give up. My eyes would hardly open. My body fully exhausted.
Thank God, today, during the break, I got to refresh and feel the calmness. As a doctor, treating the patients gives you positive energies. But I do believe that we got to take care of ourselves also to be able to help the patients recover quickly.
Furthermore, the sky looks amazing as well. A symbol of hope that nothing lasts forever. How hard the times may feel but everything will eventually come back to its course and get better. Time heals. The vast sky is just beautiful to look at. A symbol of freedom, yet bounded by strange phenomenons. We should be grateful for the blessings we have in nature.
