Few days ago there was a news that Craigslist started to accept BTC, there are speculation that in 2018 McDonald will accept BTC payments also Microsoft payment on Xbox and Windows store and their cooperation with Iota and other blockchain tech, Newegg payments and even Naughty America :) and many others .
That is great news and confirmation that BTC as a leader can be used in everyday payments as the numbers of places will rise so will the community awareness to ditch classic bank credit card and switch to BTC or altcoin ( something faster with lower fee ) mobile/card payment method.
In my hometown (Zagreb, Croatia) they are only few places where you can actually pay with cryptocurrency beside few tech shops there are one bakery and one hair salon, but honestly if there were coffeehouses or any other shop I would pay in BTC or other crypto rather than cash.
Crypto payment in "real life" ( shops, hotels etc. ) is the future in my opinion and its only matter of time when people will start to use it more and more.
