The United States has attempted through a color revolution to destabalize and replace the leaders of Venezuala. Maduro and his socialist government has resisted those efforts. To the extent that you are feeling repression it is the fault of the U.S.'s attempts to overthrow the government of Venezuela. As a citizen of the U.S. I apologize for that.
