Market Friday: checking out my neighbours’ garden and a long chat.
My gardener told me that our neighbour in traditional Thai house wondered if I could drop by one of these days. It seemed the lady of the house would like to know more about the medicine which I had given to villagers who suffered from adverse effects of their injections. My gardener admitted that she inadvertently told our neighbour that she was on her way to deliver medicine to her friends. Several of her friends got much better after taking this medication. So, more people would like to try these tablets to improve their health.
I suspected that the lady might start to have some adverse effects after her two injections. So, I was rather anxious to find out what might happen to her. The lady neighbour had retired from a high administrative position in a college almost ten years ago. She has been spending more time at her country house than at her big house in Udon, a big and modern city almost like Bangkok. Udon is about an hour’s drive away and is famous for having very good private hospitals and talented doctors. Udon is comparable to Bangkok as it even has frequent traffic jams.
My gardener phoned our neighbour to find out about the best time to drop by her house. That gave me some time to do some housework before I cycled to her house. I tried to drop by this house once or twice a month as she had to be on her own during this phase. Her husband had a contract with a gas exploration company at a seaside town in the south. Her only son recently had a brain operation on his tumour. The parents thought it’s best for their son to recuperate at a seaside town with fresh air and plenty of fresh seafood. So, the son has been under his father’s watchful eyes for almost a year. That’s why the mother has been looking after the country house on her own. They would have a reunion during long public holidays when the house would become lively again.
She has become an avid gardener and collected many flowering plants including cacti. The nice elderly couple have been very nice and kind neighbours who allow me to take photos of plants in their garden. They also have some fruit trees which are quite matured and full of seasonal fruits. They gave is some fruits from time to time. I am always eager to walk around their garden admiring newly blooming flowers. Luckily the lady has always been very obliging and often shows me her new plants and flowers.
I parked my bicycle in the front of her house. It’s amazing to see so many colourful flowers in her garden every time I dropped by. Sometimes I wished I had invested in flowering pot plants, but they would become sad and withered as we wouldn’t have much time for them. So, I took the opportunity to admire other people’s gardens and flowers. I would like to walk around the garden and taking photos straightaway but the lady invited me to have a seat on an easy chair.
I have learned to adapt myself to local culture so I would politely sit down quietly and wait for the hostess to begin the conversation. In the past, I would have been very direct and asked her why she suddenly wanted to know about the medicine and whether she had recently experienced any adverse effects. I did warn all my neighbours about the dangers of experimental gene therapy which had not been tested properly. So, if I was too direct in my approach, I would cause my neighbour to ‘lose face’ and that would be the end of a meaningful conversation.
I just sat there quietly admiring all the orchids and hanging pot plants. The lady started to tell me about what she and her husband had gone through while her son was diagnosed with brain tumour. Luckliy, they had been blessed with assistance and wonderful medical staff including a top surgeon in the field to look after her son’ s operation. The successful case was a nice surprise even to the doctor. The patient didn’t lose any memory and had speedy recuperation; he could now go jogging by the seaside everyday.
The lady told me that they had suffered silently for their son’ situation. The uncertainty and fear of untimely death of their son almost broke their hearts. She told me that they cried and wailed behind their son’s back. She was surprised to see her husband crying very hard and pitifully complaining about how unfair life had dealt with their young son. On the other hand, the lady tried to be mindful of Buddhist teachings and went to several forest monasteries to offer ‘dana’ and perform ceremonies for her son’s bad karma in his past lives.
Most Buddhists believe that strange or serious illness is a way to pay back old debts to those we have wronged in past lives. So, we should try to make amend and appease some old negative karma. The lady did ask three venerable elderly monks in three monasteries; each gave her the same encouraging words. She was very surprised and much comforted by the strange coincidence. Her husband has been asked by old boss to supervise a new energy project by the seaside town. So many things seemed to work out well for solving problems of this family.
The father could look after his son at the apartment by the seaside. His new contract brought in enough money for the operation at a well known private hospital and he could afford the expensive monthy medical bills for his son. I was quite surprised that my neighbour suddenly told me a long story which covered a whole year of emotional turmoil and sufferings.
She found out that her understanding of Buddhism prevented her from sinking into depression. Her husband turned out to be much weaker emotionally and needed lots of support. The son was the bravest among them all as he was ready to take all consequences and live his life to the best he could. He even had to comfort his father and reminded him of the impermanent nature of all living beings.
After an hour of listening to her story on what the whole family had gone through, I thought I would start shooting my questions. But she went on to tell me about her voluntary work at the court for cases concerning young people and families. My kind neighbour has been selected as a lay-judge to sit on cases involving young offenders and families’ matters. So, she has been quite busy at the local courthouse as there were more young offenders involving drugs in town lately.
She would advise the judges on alternative punishment to first time young offenders. Most of the time, they would be sent to a centre for detoxing and rehabilitating drug addicts. These young offenders would have to go through some vocational training so that they could find jobs later. She found out that the cause of children becoming drug addicts was mostly a breakdown in family. The parents would quarrel because of money problems or extramarital relationships. They often vented their frustrations on young kids who needed all the love and assurance from their parents. So, these kids easily became victims of drug pushers who befriended them.
The breakdown of a family unit seemed to lead to a whole new set of problems in our society. It would definitely weaken the fabric which supports the cohesion of a nation and its culture. Like rust, the enemies used drug to slowly destroy the strength and well being of people, community and the whole country. I was quite impressed by my neighbour’s role in trying to heal the rift among families of drug addicts and teach these simple villagers how to show their love to their kids and to hug them everyday.
I was quite puzzled by the fact that most parents just wouldn’t show their loving emotions towards their kids. They often get drunk and shout at their kids. Perhaps Buddhist monks should start teaching villagers about being brave enough to deal with emotions and how to express them without violent gestures.
After a while, I decided to shoot my question into the air. I didn’t want to miss the sunset by the river; luckily I had already fed my cats otherwise they might go on strike. My neighbour told me she had some problems with her left leg several days ago. It became very hard and stiff with some slight pain. This reminded me of my old friend’s problem; her left leg became swollen and stiff one day. (I gave my old friend several bottles of CDS which solved her problem in two days). But my neighbour was given a small handheld massaging gadget. She used the gadget to disperse the hardness in her leg. So, she could walk normally once again.
I told her about the micro bloodclots which happened to my old friend’s leg. She went for three hours traditional Thai massage which dispersed all the micro bloodclots to other parts of her body. This could cause more serious problems later on so the best thing to do was to detox graphene in blood stream and to get rid of spike proteins as much as possible. She wanted to get Ivermectin from local drugstore. But I told her that the health authority had outlawed this drug even though it had been available in drug stores during the last sixty years. I did manage to stock up some Ivermectin before the serious clamp down. So, I gave her some tablets to last her one month. I also recommended her to get some vitamins and supplements to detox graphene and heavy metals in her body.
The lady told me that she had two jabs during the first year of government campaign but she didn’t feel any negative symptoms at all. Probably she was very lucky and got the placebo batch. But her friends have started to fall ill one by one; some had died and some had been in hospitals for weeks. Recently she came across the alternative news of a doctor who published a book on coronavirus and danger of spike proteins in the injections.
In fact, I did give her the link to this information almost two years ago. But most people were too consumed by fear to become critical thinkers. They often dismissed me as being too eccentric. She told me she had to visit her friend in local hospital in a few days’ time. I heard from my gardener that the patient had suddenly passed away. So, my neighbour had to attend the funeral instead.
She did send me photos and a note telling me that she had bought vitamins and supplements. I hoped she had given some to her husband as well. I am determined to keep an eye on my neighbour as she should still be working at the local courthouse for many years. She plays an important role in healing broken families and helping to rehabilitate young drug addicts. I couldn’t just let a very kind and compassionate person being threatened by the experimental bioweapon. I would have loved to have a good chat with her son one day. But that’s up to our karmic relationships in past lives. If we had some past connections and amicable relationships, karmic consequences would bring us together one day.
I had some ten minutes looking around her garden after our long conversation. I hoped she would feel much healthier and have more vigor after taking all the supplements for one week. She started to water the cacti; she had been very busy at the courthouse almost everyday. I left her watering her garden as I had to rush to the riverfront for my communion with Mother Nature and the sunset.
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Stay strong and cheerful.
