Colourful nature, colourful sky,ท้องฟ้าหลากสีตามธรรมชาติ

The winter sky in Bangkok has been very boring as the sky is covered with thin layer of micro dust. The recent boom in construction of condominiums, office skyscrapers and electric train networks has meant that there is micro dust everywhere. Some days, the level of toxic dust becomes very dangerous resulting in over flowing patients in many hospitals. Lots of people are allergic to the dust; children tend to suffer more than adults. So, Thai people have been wearing N95 masks about a year before the coronavirus hit Thailand which meant that people are already used to wearing masks.

It is also very rare to have dramatic cloud formations here, except during the rainy season. This has made it very difficult to score any success in cloud-photo contest. What’s more I have to depend on my old iPhone 6S Plus for my photography, so macro and proper zoomed photos are out of my bounds. When seeing other’s beautiful macro photos, I could not help feeling like an outsider gazing into the amazing world of photography. A photo could say a thousand words! The effect of seeing beautiful photos of nature such as waterfall, lovely roses, sunsets by the sea or cloudy sky can never be overestimated. The impact on my mood and emotion can be surprisingly deep and instant. It is as if I could transport myself into those wonderful places of natural beauty to feel the vibes and beauty of nature. This is like astral traveling for me; the mind is beyond time and space continuum.

The colours of sunsets and clouds in the sky could be so stunning that I became speechless and still under the spell of natural beauty. Looking at beautiful photos of nature either landscape photos or cats climbing on trees would always cheer me up and fill me with energy for the whole day.

So, wherever I could spot colourful sunset I would grab my iPhone to record the beautiful sky for my own souvenirs. I would look at these colourful photos when the days are grey and depressing; it’s just like recharging my battery for the whole day.

เราชอบดูท้องฟ้าเวลาพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน และเวลาที่มีพายุฝน ท้องฟ้าดูเหมือนมีพลังอย่างประหลาด เราจะรีบคว้าไอโฟนเพื่อถ่ายรูปเก็บไว้ดูเล่น เวลาดูรูปถ่ายธรรมขาติสวยๆ และรูปมาโครของคนอื่น เราจะอดอิจฉาไม่ได้ที่เขามีกล้องและเลนส์ดีๆ เราอาจจะถ่ายรูปได้สวยกว่านี้มาก ไอโฟนถ่ายภาพซูมก็ไม่ได้ แต่เราก็คิดว่ามีไอโฟนไว้ถ่ายรูปก็สะดวกกว่าถือกล้องอันใหญ่ที่หนักมากไปกับเราทุกแห่ง เราคงทำกล้องถ่ายรูปตกวันละหลายครั้ง เราพอใจในความสามารถของไอโฟนรุ่นเก่านี้ แต่อยากจะได้กล้องเล็กๆที่มีพลังสูงๆสักวันหนึ่ง

รูปภาพสามารถสื่อสารความหมายได้มากกว่าคำพูดพันคำ เวลาเราเห็นรูปภาพธรรมชาติที่สวยงามมาก เช่น รูปภาพพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน ภาพนํ้าตกและป่า ดอกกุหลาบที่สวยสะดุดตา หรือรูปภาพลูกแมวที่น่ารัก เราจะมีความรู้สึกที่ดีมาก เหมือนได้รับพลังธรรมชาติจากท้องฟ้าและจักรวาล เราจึงชอบถ่ายรูปภาพธรรมชาติรอบตัวที่ให้พลังธรรมชาติต่อเรานั่นเอง
