To protest is to make a strong objection. Protest can come from one individual or group of people with common goals and interests. Majorly people protest to fight for their rights, and protests yield two results; positive and negative. When protest is positive, the interest of the protesters are meant or sometimes they are consoled and promised. When it goes in a bad manner is when there is destruction of properties and it ends up not peaceful. This may happen if it was hijacked by hoodlums, a case of this happened during the EndSars protest in Nigeria (when youth call the federal government to suspend the activities of the special anti-robbery squad, because they have deviated from their primary assignment), it was hijacked in some states their by causing commotion it even led to the release of prisoners who are supposed to be under punishment.
Protests majorly are for the benefit of the masses.
My answer will always be YES!!!
They are doing this for the benefit of everyone, people no longer listen to commands they want to be forced. Activists campaign for change, they may be politically oriented so that they can lead people through the formal ways. They will protest and demonstrate to show a gesture of disapproval.
Climate change is a campaign I believe everyone should subscribe to, it's everybody's fight, we should fight it over corruption, because we can still live and adapt in a corrupted nation compared to climate effects.
We should prefer a better climate than making profit.
The only way they can be heard is when they come out in public and stand firm on their points.
They will surely affect people's business, free movement and others. I count this as a sacrifice people should make for a better living atmosphere.
Their revolution and campaign will be better recognized if peaceful in such a way that they invite security organizations as witness and support to avoid being hijacked by hoodlums.
