I like how you pointed that out; indeed the weather is not what we are used to or planning ahead for. Personally we have a huge garden and really tried to grow so many things in it this year but our harvest was catastrophic. The weather here in central Europe was so wet that everybody's plants drowned. So it made me think a LOT about the uncertainty that hovers above the climate. I'm definitely not on the political climate agenda, I actually believe the same about the solar cycles. This is happening and we have no idea what it will look like, even our Nature probably has the most surreal surprises in store for us in the upcoming times.. so I figured we may also think differently about our NEEDS. Do we actually need to eat so much after all? How can our body renew its cells and do fermentation correctly even without food? Or less at least? That's what I'm focusing my mind and heart on, the exploration of all our "mortal" limitations, do they really exist??
On the other hand, its certainly not the first time the weather didn't provide the rain or the climate needed, and I remember, the ancient peoples took Rain Dances way more sincerely and saw the real power in that I suppose they literally worked with and attracted the elemental forces they wanted to cooperate with for their wellbeing. I believe we shall give more credit and take more seriously the various rituals that have been practiced to unite with nature on those matters, and not just label them as a supersticious myth or silly primitive beliefs :)
Gosh I wrote so much but your replies really prompted me to chime in hihi
