We are so determined to meet the "one", "the perfect", "HE", for whom we dream that we do not bother to get close to anyone else, we consider it a waste of time.
We firmly believe that it makes no sense to bind to someone who has not fully met all of our "ideal" requirements.
But love does not work like that.
There is something charming in the idea of being alone until we find the ideal person, but is it not a bit constraining this female stubbornness?
How will we find out who is "the ideal" if we do not get into the relationships that are not perfect before? How will we fall in love with the ideal if we do not fall in love with strange people before that? How do we know love if we do not make mistakes?
Love is, to a great extent, acceptance of the foreign imperfections.
Love is not straightforward. It is not the highway to happiness, it is a winding road through broken hearts and shameful in love. There are moments of sharing and disappointment, of injury and rejection.
Love is not perfect and it is time to stop expecting it from it.
There is nothing wrong with allowing yourself to fall in love even if it seems a little unwise to you, even if it does not meet absolutely all the requirements for Mr. Perfect.
Because people are such - with shortcomings, but also wonderful qualities. Qualities to be discovered loved and elevated over the shortcomings.
The point is not to look for someone ideal, but to find someone real.
And this can happen only if we give ourselves and our soul the chance to fall in love, to grow up, to reach with the other to new relationships, which may prove to be what makes our hearts simultaneously excited but and to feel comfortable finding his soul mate.
So do not devote much time to analyzing love, because in the meantime you will forget what it is to take care of another person, what it is to share, what it is to make love.
Love, trust and gather memories, experiences and good mood. Life is too short to live alone.
