It was a real challenge to paint this little green guy because it has a complex structure. I really love grasshoppers, they are champions of high jumping. It has been many times since I found this lost wanderer in the curtain of my room. I didn’t scream and wasn’t scared,just caught it carefully and let go.
This tiny fellow is probably a young specimen without wings and lost one of its legs.
The painting is based upon a macro photo, painted with watercolor on paper.
