In this post I want to discuss about animals that are often associated with mystic, Black Beetle. For residents waruga zhunnda or sunda this animal is usually called Bangbung / Bambung Hideung, and for those who are familiar with myth, mythology, folklore and Sundanese cultural stories should know that its existence is often associated with the mystical media, but how do you think?

The presence of black beetles that suddenly alight at home (at night) is often associated with the mystical incident above. Songs Ronggeng Bambung Hideung is also known as one of the songs of sacred where often times when it is played is actually even make the dancers or listeners possessed, and indeed it is associated with the legend ronggengnya itself, where the song is one of the songs that siperdengarkan when the procession ronggeng implemented (such as ruwatan) which is a procession of associating with supernatural beings so that the dancers look more beautiful, and more are on the hook.

This animal is also known as the Beetle Beetle, it has a habit of rolling up animal waste and rolling it up into spheres and then stacking it in the hole of the nest, this is done so that the female can lay eggs in the dirt. so when hatching the beetle larvae get food that is in the form of dirt that brought by it.
