Karen Lara, the tarot card reader, the spiritual healer, my dearest friend who does readings for me every now and then.
I fetched her from the hospital yesterday. She has been making two trips almost every day for 10 days now. Her mother is in the hospital and as the only child and caregiver, she has been doing all the runs. With Covid, she just managed to get the visits but only because her mother is refusing to eat to add to all the other complications a 90-year-old would have.
We had a nice dinner and some ice cream, as we chatted about caregivers, the aged, mother-child dynamics, expectations, hopes and preparations.
Before I left, she whipped out her Tarot cards and I asked the question. It was about Hive, it's always about Hive.
Where do I sit in the scheme of things?
Is this where I should spend my energy?
Will my efforts pay off?
I loved this card she pulled out. In fact, I loved them all. Look at the spread, and you'll see how positive they are. This might be the most optimistic read I've ever had.
In a nutshell, I'm not going anywhere!
