It's been a week since I brought Charlie home.
He's now 7 weeks old, is growing well, and is the friendliest little kitten ever, happy to greet everyone, accept huggles from people he's never met before, and even happily had a sleep at our neighbour's house when we had a visit.
He's adjusting so well...
Is growing larger and more playful every day...
And refuses to let me clean his eye boogers...😅
He loves to chew on fingers...
To devour his human's arms...
And to attack every shadow that dares move...
And he is my favouritest couch buddy...
Also.
That is his seat now.
If anyone else sits there -- my son or my partner -- he'll sit on the floor and stare at them, guilt-tripping them until they move. 😆
We finally received his cat tree yesterday afternoon, and then took over 2 hours to build it because the instructions were terrible, the screws weren't numbered, and one of the threadings was too skinny for -any- of the screws. So we had to improvise.
But it's all built now! And hopefully he'll take to it. It's not quite like the last cat tree that I had, which seemed more intuitive for a little kitten. This one seems more suited for a larger cat, but it'll all work out.
My old cat, Squishee, ten years ago, loved his kitty tree and you would always find him sleeping in the hammock, even when he had grown too big and too heavy for the thing and it would sink right down to the platform below it. 😆
In the meantime, Charlie has decided that the pile of old shoes is superior to his tree and you can always find him over there declaring war upon the smelly things.
💕😁😺😊❤️
Meow! Thank you for stopping by!
