Phone photography contest #83 - Visit to a local flower garden
Nameste, everyone. Today is a beautiful Wednesday, one that spreads happiness all around the world along with all the colourful celebrations. Today brought to mind a #reflection of an interesting visit I made some weeks back to a local garden in my city. I thought to share as my entry to round 83 of phone photography #contest.
I had a long day, and the sun was scorching. I didn't plan to stay out long in the ministry but I decided to accompany my friends to a last visit which turned out to be at the garden, one I'm glad I didn't miss out on. Flowers are just way more than the physical look. Having the opportunity to feel each of them with their distinct texture, some fragile and others tougher, the uniqueness of how each is formed, their shapes and designs. The colour contrast that forms beautiful patterns which we humans borrow to create beautiful artwork and prints on various materials including fabrics made me realize how lucky we are to have such beauty around us, a gift of nature which will overlook and yet it remains, giving us more beauty in each season.
I've never felt closer to nature the way I felt on this very day. I was thrilled at their uniqueness, which tells a story, and I commended the gardener for doing such a good job, keeping the flowers clean and giving me the opportunity to explore each of them even though they were fragile.
The gardener is also an artist, so it was a mix of excitement for me. I felt at peace, surrounded by the beauty of the flowers, and it felt like paradise. I #feelgood 馃挄
This is also my entry for the #Wednesdaywalk.
Have you ever experienced this before? Please share your story with me.
