Here in São Mateus do Sul - PR in Brazil, we always gather to follow the concerts of local bands, especially the bands here in our city, to enjoy the sound and to give strength to the friend who is playing, of course, there were several bars and small event houses that held rock events, the public was not as large as other musical events, but they made a difference in animation and presence.
Whenever bands played at these events, they took a few minutes of break and it was during this period that my friends and I would get together to play some songs until the band came back, so we started to rehearse about five songs just for these breaks from the events, so we thought why not create a silly band and play for real and not just during breaks, that's where the Corrente Maluca was born.
We didn't want anything serious, just have fun and enjoy the show nights, but the band started to get more serious and there were several own songs that are still known in the city and region, mainly the song Whiskey and Vodka, my favorite is the song Combinação Perfeita, we recorded several songs at the time, we recorded it in a very simple studio, but this simple style suited the band a lot, I'll leave two songs down here for you to hear.
The band was active for years and sometimes we still get together to send a sound in the back of the garage and at events where the bands play few songs and maybe one day we'll come back to do shows again,
I sincerely thank you who read this text about the band Corrente Maluca, I was for a while without posting here and I decided to come back with everything, until the next time.
Aqui em São Mateus do Sul - PR no Brasil, sempre nos reuniamos para acompanhar os shows das bandas locais, principalmente as bandas aqui da nossa cidade, pra curtir o som e para dar força pro amigo que está tocando é claro, existiam vários bares e pequenas casas de evento que faziam eventos de rock, o publico não era tão grande quanto aos outros eventos musicais, mas faziam a diferença em animação e presença.
Sempre que as bandas tocavam nesses eventos, eles davam alguns minutos de pausa e era nesse período que eu e meus amigos nos reuníamos para tocar algumas músicas até a banda voltar, nisso a gente começou até ensaiar umas cinco músicas só para esses intervalos dos eventos, então pensamos porque não criar uma banda de bobeira e tocar de verdade e não só nos intervalos, foi nisso que surgiu a Corrente Maluca.
Não queríamos nada sério, apenas nos divertir e aproveitar as noites de show, só que a banda começou a ficar mais séria e surgiram varias músicas próprias que até hoje são conhecidas na cidade e na região, principalmente a música Whisky e Vodka, a minha preferida é a música Combinação Perfeita, gravamos varias músicas na época, gravamos em um estúdio bem simples, mais esse estilo simples combinou bastante com a banda, vou deixar duas músicas aqui em baixo para vocês ouvirem.
A banda ficou ativa por anos e as vezes ainda nos reunimos para mandar um som nos fundos de garagem e em eventos que as bandas tocam poucas músicas e quem sabe um dia voltamos a fazer shows novamente, agradeço de coração a você que leu esse texto sobre a banda Corrente Maluca, fiquei tempinho sem fazer postagens aqui e resolvi voltar com tudo, até a próxima pessoal.
