It's been 5 days since I posted anything on Hive. I just haven't had anything much to say and I've been distracted with other things. So I thought I had better post something, anything just to get started again.

I don't know about you, but If I take a break from something, even for a few days, I find it hard to get going. I want to do it, but it's like the cogs in my brain have rusted up. Actually, it's very hot here. As I have said in the past, us Brits aren't used to the heat. That's probably the reason my brain has gone to sleep. Still, the schools close for the summer at the end of the week, so we will be back to proper British summer weather - 6 weeks of rain!

So, as I had nothing to write about I thought I would look through the photos on my phone and see if I could find a picture I could use and found the one above. It's a picture of a peacock butterfly which I took a couple of weeks ago. I found it on a path and it just stayed still sunning itself while I took a photo. The are one of my favourite British butterflies, but like most insects, there aren't as many about as there used to be. Which is a shame.

So there you have it, I've actually made a post! Did I have much to say? Not really. Was it worth you reading it to the end? Probably not. But hopefully the act of writing something may put me in the right frame of mind to get me into the habit of posting again. .

By the way, my wife and I are off on a river cruise down the Danube in a couple of weeks, so hopefully I will have lots to write about, other than writing about not having anything to write about.
