This week was the end of one of the best Isekais ever created. ReZero had it's final episode last Tuesday and we got to experience the return of REM. The most loved Waifu ever since Rei Ayanami.
After 10 years, REM has finally come back, she lost her consciousness after the battle of the White Whale and she encounters an assault by Ley Batenkaitos and Regulus Cornea.
This was one of the most emotional parts of ReZero as the main Waifu of the MC gets overwhelmed by enemies that destroy her while the MC can't do anything about it being far from the fight. Only to learn that her beautiful gf has been set unconscious. Subaru, and REM shared a special connection and they both love each other, way more than the love for Emilia. Maybe because the second is more about admiration and the first is about comradery.
So after the epic fight between RAM and Ley, she beat him with the power of Synesthesia, and taking REM's mana. The sleep disease breaks out and make REM be able to wake up from the slumber. Giving her 'Name' back to her conscious. However, she still don't recognize Subaru and might not be fully 100%.
We will see how the 7 Arc of ReZero develop, but I think it would be quite emotional seeing the relationship develop between Subaru and REM.
Besides the REM story, other things were achieved at the Tower, including the Schaula, as being part of the trials of the Tower and the tower being conquest. She return to her original form of a scorpion and as a tiny scorpion she end up with Meiri to take care of it. Then is the situation with Subaru and REM as they are teletransported by Volcanica out of the Tower into what is called the Vollachia Empire, while leaving the rest of the group at the tower. This was done to prevent the Witch of Envy to destroy everything in the tower.
The fight between Emilia and Volcanica was amazing I most say, she fought like never before on the series and turn into a super ninja warrior. Also it was quite cute that most of her weapons were copies of Subaru, and also in a weird way. Volcanica remind her of Poku, her guardian Spirit.
