Konnichiwa!! How is everyone in @theanimerealm? We are almost halfway of August and it's been a rainy month/week with lots of flood happening in our country and I hope everyone is safe.

This month's Fanart is from the Anime: Bleach. I draw this character because she is one of my favorite characters on bleach and the last part of the Thousand-Year Blood War is Finally out. I've been waiting for the final cour since I continued watching this anime last year, all thanks to a friend.

The character is Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. Yeah, That is her full name and still today, I don't know how to properly pronounce her last name xD and they call her Nel which is way more easier to pronounce. 😅 She is an Arrancar from Hueco Mundo, a place or dimension where corrupted souls resides.

Anyway, This mischievous and adorable dork is what made the Arrancar/Hueco Mundo Arc on bleach more fun because of her playful banters and antics towards Ichigo. I'm glad they met again in TYBW and this is how I envisioned her if she spend time in the Human world and for sure she will enjoy all the sweets here.

That's all I can say about her without spoiling her story. Now let's proceed to the process.

P R O C E S S

Here's the sketch and I was surprised of the result because I'm not really an expert on chibis or drawing a child.

I reduced the opacity of the sketch and painted the base colors of the skin, hair, skull, and her clothes.

After painting the base colors, I added the shadows. As you can see here the clothes is already rendered because I got carried away when I painted the shadows that I forgot to save a Pic. xD

I proceed to render the parfait first because it was the most challenging part of the entire artwork. I started to paint the inside of the glass first so I can paint glass transparency effect afterwards.

After the glass, I continued painting the hair and the skull on her head.

And last but not the least, I painted her face and put a sparkles on her eyes.

And here is the result! Overall I was satisfied of the outcome and didn't made a lot of changes on the artwork. Oh, I almost forgot to paint her scar on her face and I just remember it when I was about to write this blog. 😅
