So, today i will be making my entry on my childhood dreams... As a child i wanted to be everything that there is. I had too many aspirations which include wanting to be a banker, lawyer, tailor, pilot and even an architect but most i especially i desired two things most and that was being a lawyer
Which i aspired because i wanted to be a grammarian and also to deal with anybody miscarries justice around me or tampers with my family and friends and i also wanted to be an architect
Source which i wanted to be simply because i had too many images of beautiful houses in my head in my mind that i would like to build for my siblings and parents and i also thought that female architects were unique so i wanted to be like them and so many other aspirations including being a caterer and i was keen about achieving my dreams at all cost.
Fast forward to my secondary school level i learnt i had to be both an art student and science student to be able to arrive at my dreams and at this point, i was stucked because my school my school don't accept combining both inclinations so i resorted to art courses and i moved with it. At this point, i was not far from my lawyer dream.
I finished my secondary school and after my jamb and post utme, i got admission to study law and by this time, i was the happiest person on earth and so was my family and i spent 6 years in school including the pandemic year and just last month i graduated from school and had my LL.B certified and all those years my mum helped me by encouraging me and sponsoring me and she never ceased believing the path i chosed in life.
And finally before the year runs out by God's grace i will be heading to law school for my BL certificate after which i will now be A Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. My dream of being a lawyer so far was the only childhood dream i have accomplished although along the line i found other hobbies like being a poet and a writer which i really love doing and have passion for.
What can i say about dreams? Dreams are wonderful and are worth having by every child and my advice to my kids is that having dreams keep children in check and they go a long way to making you become a better person. Also, even when you dream and end up not achieving it you will still be in the right path and will never go wrong having a dream.
Thanks for reading and i hope this will be helpful to the community.
