The difference is that the content can only be “blocked” on the front end (like on Steemit) but can’t be removed from the blockchain. So technically speaking, it can’t be censored. If every single front end in existence decided to sensor a post let’s say.. then anyone can still access it on the chain themselves or even make their own “portal” to view it.
Video is different, as it’s it stored on the chain.. so that would be done through 3rd party servers etc. I’m not sure of the exact way 3Speak is handling this now but I do know they were working to ensure they provide a platform where content can not be censored.
