It is generally considered polite to introduce yourself when you want to start getting up in the local landscape. Hello stickers are a classic way to say, "Hi, this is my name/word." You can get up without this step too. It is more of a guideline than a rule. Graffiti is free expression, who am I to limit another? This is just something I do and have done for many years. I enjoy doing graffiti.
