I'm glad I came across your blog and started reading your posts. Your approach to subjects is unique and interesting. It would be wonderful to have conversations with you about different aspects of life.
I enjoyed reading this post. In our day-to-day lives, we encounter things that prompt deep reflection. Your sighting of a felled tree with its roots exposed reminded you of your identity and heritage. How fascinating!
Interestingly, I'm in my final year at university, and interestingly, my project topic revolves around the complexities of identity. I've read numerous books exploring this theme. Many writers who have explored this topic share stories of leaving their ancestral homes for foreign lands. After a long time, they start to feel disconnected and eventually return to their heritage.
Despite feeling lost and disconnected, there is still hope. I hope your children will be able to look deep and connect to their heritage through your words.
