The love of money is the root of evil. The Love of money can make people engage in illegal and smelly activities. The worst type of obsession is when you're obsessed with money or material things. There's no doubt that money is good, however, we shouldn't allow it to control the things we do. Nowadays, people go extra length to make money. They don't care about the things they do or the repercussions of their actions. Worst still, they don't even care about the people they hurt while trying to make money.

What's that one job you'll never do no matter how attractive the pay is? I read entries from other members of this community, and I was shaking my head while reading their entries. I read an entry from a member and the person said he'd never work as a banker regardless of how attractive the pay is. Really? I know some of us have had ugly experiences when it comes to our previous (or current) jobs, but it takes a lot to refuse a huge amount of money just because of your ugly past. Okay, let us analyze this scenario as a case study: we have a 37-year-old bachelor residing in Lagos state (a city in Nigeria). He used to work as a banker but had ugly experiences. After getting laid off, he vows never to work as a banker again. A few months later, he's unable to find a job. After a few months of unsuccessfully hunting, a miracle happens. In one of his job-seeking journeys, he encounters a good samaritan who offers him a bank job with a weekly salary of 1 million nairas. Do you think this 37-year-old man would refuse the job?

People that have attempted this prompt are probably missing out on something or they do not understand the part where the topic says “no matter how attractive the pay is.” I've also had ugly experiences, but I would surely not turn down that same job if I was offered lots of money. Shortly after graduating from secondary school, I got a job in an elementary school close to where I lived. I worked there for three months without getting paid. I didn't get a dime in return for the time I spent teaching the students. Neither did I get a dime in return for my sweat and for the time I spent writing lesson notes. Also, my boss, who happens to be the owner and principal of the school, was rude. Extremely rude. No matter how small your workers are, they should be treated with respect. She violated this rule without showing any sign of remorse. Yes, I had ugly experiences and one would think I wouldn't want to work as a teacher ever again. However, if I was offered a high amount of money, I would definitely accept to work as a teacher again.

The one job I would never do no matter how attractive the pay may be, being involved in human trafficking. No matter how tempting the pay may be, human trafficking is totally out of the question. Yes! Money is good. However, we should not allow the love of money to make us do illegal things. A job that causes harm to innocent lives? Definitely out of the question. As I mentioned earlier, people go extra lengths to make money. I've read numerous news stories of people who tried to sell people just to make money. Recently, I read a news on the internet about a man who tried to sell his only son. The world is really brutal.

I've not had a bad experience with human trafficking in the past and I hope it stays that way.
