Yes, that right as I outlined in an early post, the Seedgerminator crowdfunding is a great way to get FREE cards. And it's ending soon.
As we can see there is still plenty of room for those last minute purchases, and with any luck we'll get these starter decks, promo cards and booster not long after this crowdfund closes.
But the reality is this crowdfunding has failed to reach the masses, with only 580 backers to date. And I know a bulk of these are existing SM players, so it's failed to capture the attention of the Tron crowd as was intended.
Now there are definitely a heap of new players floating around in the discord chat, which is nice, but they appear to have replaced existing players who appear to have lost interest in this game.
I guess we are hoping that the introduction of DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) helps to improve the game. But nobody is holding their breath.
On another note, Aggroed had a paid a few YouTubers to promote SM to their communities one of which is not doing well.
And when we do a Steem Monsters search on YouTube I'm still ranking for top 3 posts.
And I would have done a lot more with 'Paid Promotions' or at the very least support from the Steem Monsters owners. I'm truly perplexed by the marketing strategy SM is using to promote this game.
Anyway it is what it is...
So jump onboard this crowd-sourcing promo before it's too late. And at least get yourself a few free cards with a minimal outlay and guaranteed returns in a few weeks.
