Hello everybody,
How many work - in - progress do you have with your crafts? Mine is 3 projects that I focused on, at the moment.
The author of Love You More Beanie, Bernadette Dy, done here toddler beanie pattern , partner for the adult beanie, so, I tested it again to complete the set. Hmm, I was confident enough to start the toddler size by chaining 77 without using a marker. Maybe I was distracted because of multitasking making the chain then stop to check clicked clicked and edited my gallery pictures, then chain again, ahaha...I made 78 chains my foundation chains, still I continued to row 3. Ho my what a mess, cannot be, the beginning chains must be 77. Result? Frogged my work , all of it. Then, this time I used my handy dandy stitch marker. Thankful I bought them before the pandamic and stay at home ordeal.
Saved a lot of time counting my chains many times.
No more frogging, correct counting was the key with markers.
Success until how many rows! Lesson: even experienced crochetist must need markers.
Next project:
Just all single crochet using tiny cord and 3mm hook to cover my glass housing altar. I will cover the whole glass. I still do not know how to paste it or what will I use that it will stick to the glass.
3rd project is my own top using the Lava polyyester Cake. Lava because this was inspired by the Lava gown wore by Miss Universe Catriona Gray. But am not still sure if this will be mine when finish because am not familiar what is the effect of polyyester yarn to my skin when I wear it. I am comfortable with cotton yarn for wearables.
My phase is slow with this top because there are 6 strands of polyyester thread wind together, imagine when the steel hook can not pull it together, really messy. Thus, I must always straightened it always. But, patience,patience...3 squares to go, soon, I can shout, yes, done!
Thanks for dropping by...
