Hello everybody,
Last week my daughter together with our two grandaughters visited us, with Bruno, their dog. They travelled almost 3 hours. When they arrived, my daughter wore this crocheted white top, cover photo modeled by granddaughter Alexie.
Aha, happy much to see my daughter wearing it, looks good on her with a green tube underneath. I gave it to her two years ago, my find at a pre-love store. I almost forgot about it. Looked closer, I like the spiral stitch.
Then, an idea came up again. I have this silky pink shawl, I think this is nice to turn into dress.
Our visitors stayed overnight, then I just knew the following day that it was my granddaughter Lian 16th birthday! Oh my my! With 19 grandkids I did'nt memorize all their borndate. Ahehehe...When they went home, my daughter left the white top so, I can copy it. They will come back next month sureness I can make my version of the stitch.
Here it is, a spiral granny square. The original have 9 spikes, to be able to turn it into a 4" granny square creating 8 only spikes or fan.
Am gonna need 14 squares, join it as I go.
Just until here guys next blog showing you my finish dress and how I constructed it.
Thanks for dropping by....
