Hello everybody,
For how many days we hav'nt travel because of the rain, when it rain our road here is muddy because before this area was a corn field, then the owner decided to subdivide and sell the lots. With this situation hubby got all the car keys from my son, our driver. When he handed me the keys, some have no holders. So, after I washed my laundry yesterday, I decided to crochet the key holders.
This are the car keys.
This three have no holders...
I tried first crocheting for the motor, using monaco 5ply black colorway and 1.9mm hook. I tried first with Chain 8 but it was not enough so I added two chains, then it fitted.
I just experimented by alternating the double crochet and half double crochet in every row, I was happy I was successful with my experiment, it fits the motor key.
I do not throw right away old things. Last month I saw at the corner a black tattered bag, when I examined it the accesories were in good condition only the zipper was tattered. So, I got all the bags accesories and keep it.
It is really advantage not to throw away old unused things, there will come a time you can use it, in time.
After I finished crocheting the holder, I added additional fuschia pink color to brighten up the black color...then in a minute it was done!
Again I crocheted the next one, the Multicab key, using green color this time, it easy because it have a hole easy to crochet, attached to the holder, so, I made two quick and easy project!
Knowing how to crochet helps in any situation.
Thanks for dropping by...
