After contemplating the sunrise, I took pictures of the hills around me.

I always feel small when I am here, away from the noise, with no other company than my thoughts, with my mind free of worries and grateful to be alive.

If I had to compare the experience to something else, I would say it is like walking for days with a heavy backpack on your back, feeling your body buckle and never straighten up again; keep walking despite the fatigue, as the days turn into weeks and the journey seems to get longer and longer; wanting to throw in the towel, being about to give up and get an inn in the middle of nowhere; stopping, freeing yourself from the weight and breathing, before continuing.

That's why I come back to this place every chance I get. It feels good to do it, no matter how much effort it takes. The view from the top is priceless. I'm happy to share it with you. Thanks for watching and reading.

This is the last installment of a post I divided into three parts.

You can see the previous ones here: I, II.
