The mermaid ferry finally made it ,
The portal is open to the human world;
She came so far to save it,
But if she's late, she can't go back to her dreamworld.
She's worked so long and hard;
To get this far, to save our earth.
We better listen and be on guard;
Because we need a spiritual rebirth.
She keeps telling us, over and over;
To change our ways of abuse and greed,
To stop our hostile takeover,
Since we take more than we need.
She shows us our future, again and again,
Of our planet's end and destruction;
And yet we still refuse her plea again,
We don't cease our overproduction.
She shows us new ways to live in peace,
She outlines the simplicity of gardening,
She shows, explains and tells us how to increase,
The health of earth by ourselves, instead of listening to official pardoning.
She knows there the few out there,
Who listen and help and do,
But she also hopes, she made you aware;
And that someday, help and good will also come from you.
