The Bible tells us that God shows his power: for the eyes of the LORD behold all the earth, to show his power for those who have a perfect heart toward him. (2 Chronicles 16: 9)
We must be perceived so as not to make mistakes, but if we make a mistake, it will not prevent God from working in our life, only our lack of fidelity can do it. Who is faithful? He who spends his time doing what God has called him to do, as Jesus describes him: He who takes his cross and follows him. He who rejects his fleshly desires, and invests his life in the things that God wants him to do.
Perhaps God has been exhorting him to spend more time in his word and in prayer or to minister more to the people around him. He may be calling him to pray for the sick or to teach the word. But you are busy, so go quietly with good intentions and tell God that "after" he will do it, well the "after" is today.
Decide today that you are going to be the faithful and prudent servant, examine the things that are taking away your time to be with the Lord; put the interests of the Lord before yours. Do you want to be a leader of the house of God? Do you want Him to show your power in your favor? Then make yours the thoughts, the purposes and the plans of Jesus. It's time to be faithful!
God bless you greatly.
