DO NOT LOOK AT THE STORM LOOK AT THE WORDTEXTO
But seeing the strong wind and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me! At once Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him: Man of little faith! Why did you doubt? (Matthew 14: 30-31)
The word given by God becomes a reality in your life when you believe it with faith in your heart, but you must know that the enemy will do anything to take your eyes off the word of God. For example: It will cause problems in your life, shake things up so that your situation is like a rowboat in a storm, will do what you can to get your eyes on the physical world and the situation that surrounds it and not in the promises of God. He knows that if he does not achieve that task, you can use God's promises to defeat him.
That tactic was the one that the enemy used against Pedro. When Peter jumped out of the boat in obedience to the word of Jesus, believing it in his heart, what happened next? He walked on the water without any problem. When Jesus said "come", he clung to that word and jumped into the water. But when he took his eyes from that word and returned them to the storm, he began to think that what he was doing could not be possible; After all, he was a fisherman.
All his knowledge and experience told him that when the waves and the wind were so strong, he would be arrested by them. He began to notice what he knew of the natural world instead of what Jesus had told him, then his faith was lacking and he began to sink.
Do not let that happen to you, once you receive some revelation of the word of God, hold on to it, do not look at anything else because the enemy will do anything for you to desist from it: Shake things around you, I will try to instill fear in you and will bring to your memory things from the past to try to make you do it again as you did before in the old life. But do not give in, fix your gaze on the word of God until it is more real than anything else, and you can walk on the water without any problem. You can win in every battle you face.
God bless you greatly.
