To bless is to wish him the best, to fill him with good things, to magnify him, etc. Every father and mother wants to wish the best to their child.
Although sometimes in the midst of anger or simply by nature, one tends to say words that are not a blessing but a curse. Phrases like "You do not know how to do anything" "You are a brute" "You have no future", and stop counting. And you do not realize that in that way you are marking and condemning your son / daughter.
We must understand that the words we speak are very important, there is a close relationship between the words we say and what happens, since in the mouth there is power; with it you bless or curse, build or destroy. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit" (Proverbs 18:21).
This evidences what was written before, when the big mistake is made in pronouncing those words to your son / daughter; which is an inheritance from God.
If you had the habit of saying incorrect words to your child, or to anyone. This is the day and this is the time to reflect, and start over, to say; Father, I recognize that I have treated my son badly and I have not been talking about the correct way for his life, I repent, I ask you in the name of Jesus, that you help me to do it well, cleanse my mouth of all slander, Fill my mouth with your word to be able to speak blessing about the life of my son / daughter, in the name of Jesus amen. The Lord longs to help you, he only hopes that you give him a place in your life, He does not despise a broken and humiliated heart.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; if they are red like crimson, they will be like white wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
Go with your child to the presence of the Lord and learn to speak words of blessing. God help you to educate your children correctly under his word ....
God bless you greatly.
