BOSE SoundSport Wireless Headphones

I've been looking for a pair of good in ear buds for my workout routine for the past few months, and since I am never the "being good" kind, I then proceed to take matter into my hand, and rob a santa bought myself a pair of Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones.

Some FYI

Bose SoundSport Wireless Headphones is sport oriented Bluetooth in ears buds that provided good sound quality without the entanglement of wires. Bose do market the SoundSport as "Sweat and weather resistant", yet I don't have any other source of certification on this matter.

This buds do come with a in-line music control buttons with mic, so that you can make and answer calls without extra hassles. Bose claim 6 hours of playback per charge.

OMG, this is just pure amazing.

Pairing Up

The Bluetooth pairing procedure is pretty straight forward, and I get it down within 45 seconds. The buds will notifies your thru a confirmation voice over couple with the tiny blinking led, green lighting you to jump in and enjoy.

You can also connect your phone and the buds via Bose Connect App. In case you somewhat get lost in the process, Bose does provide a handy guide in the box.

Trying it for the First Time

After some closer inspections, this buds are huge, as big as my thumb! However they feel pretty light in my hand, a quick glance over the spec sheet tell me that they are roughly 23 grams.

Those winged tip are tad awkward at the first few tries but they do provide a rock solid fitment, they don't even budge after some short running and jumping test. There are comfortable for the moment, since it's a short test. Bose do provide two smaller sized tips in the package.

Sound Experience

I immediately go thru my usual EDM list, and the first impression is boy, this buds do provide some punchy bass, albeit the space is a bit too tight to my liking. Then I switch to some female vocals, and I found those high notes are crisp, while the mids are balanced, or slightly bland if you are picky.

One aspects that stood up for the entire testing is the dynamic of this tiny buds, that make music with a splash of lightness and airiness especially at the high notes, while refraining from turning the low ends into a soupy mess.

I'll report back when I've been with them for a few dozen hours of usage, whether do they burn in.
