Having a kid sister has taught me how delicate it is training up a child. King Solomon adviced us that kids only grow up to become what they've been trained to be and I've come to believe that.
The "Educationalists" believed that children were born as "blank slates", beginning their lives morally neutral. From this point of view, infants were neither inherently good or inherently evil. A child's nature and personality would develop over childhood, a period of time during which the educationalists believed a child was particularly impressionable. Adults surrounding a child could potentially have a very lasting effect on his personality. Source
To me kids are PCs, garbage in, garbage out. They reproduce the behavioral patterns they've been fed with over time.
Kids grow up to either be good or bad based on the pictures, words and ideologies they've have been exposed to. They are an empty slate.
We should be mindful of the information and exposure we give out kids as this can either make or mar them .
