As the photography contests are getting more popular it is also becoming harder to win. Some people are going down the route of plagiarism. The main purpose of these contests is not to win, but to share each others photography, inspire and learn from each other. By using work from other people not only do you disrespect me, but more importantly you disrespect the hard work of other Steemians who are trying to improve their photography.

Manual curation
While I am not perfect it is quite easy to detect plagiarism. I go over every submission and I can find inconsistencies quite easily. Photographers tend to have a signature style, also photographers tend to shoot photos in their direct surroundings. Not many people can travel the entire world. So when you suddenly start posting photos from all over the world with totally different styles, this is hard to miss.
There is not much to gain from stealing photos made by other people. Not only is it difficult to fool me, if you can find the photo on the internet, I can too. You are just fooling yourself. Lack of self confidence will limit your life in many aspects, far outside of Steemit. By believing in yourself, working hard and having patience you will grow to become the most beautiful version of yourself.
