Real success in life is to know your true identity as spirit soul beyond the body, so that at the time of death you are able to return back to the original abode. That is what the human form of life is meant for. If you are able to attain liberation from the cycle of repeated birth and death then you have succeeded. Otherwise you are obliged to return to take another body in the temporary material world which is a hard struggle for the eternal soul.
