Lately I've been pretty busy so I haven't really has a lot of time nor inspiration to work on any visual art. Last night I decided to make an attempt just to get myself back into the groove.
I had the idea to do a digital collage with painting so I began pasting different images and slapping the digital paint on the screen. After adding and deleting and over painting the majority of what I did I ended up with this abomination:
A fat Socrates with a Batman suit and a .... sun? I have no idea.
I didn't really want to work on it anymore and was going to just abandon it but in a last ditch effort I put it into the mirrorlab app and had a play around.

Still not exciting me at all though!
I played around with creating a height map and rotating the image until I got this final result that looks like a beautifully colored moth!
I'd like to propose a new tag, hideousart, I know you all have some, let's see it.
