Greetings, artists from all worlds and all realities!

Today, I thought I'd share with you more about the design of the project I've had in mind. I hope you like it!

The following images were made using my custom build of Disco Diffusion, photo-manipulation and digital drawing through Gimp and Inkscape, and post editing/composition in darktable.

No philosophy and no writing for today!

I'm going to the countryside of Georgia for a couple day, to do some field recordings and capture some of the essence of the eastern region with my Zoom H1N. I've been making a lot of ambient music lately, and I need some new organic material to use in my creation.

I'm still thinking somehow to connect my musical creation to this universe I'm trying to build, either through the song themes and genres, or simply names and artworks, I'm not sure. But since making "soundtrack" kind of music is a passion of mine, I could make some soundtracks following the themes of the created world, or maybe of the races that compose it! What do you think?

So instead, here is a concept design,

for the third race, the AI robotic race, the Travelers! No talking about their concept and their ideas and ideology, as I simply don't have the time to get in depth today. I have to finish reading Ethica of Spinoza and write a condensed recap' of it before the end of the weekend, all while trying to recording some sounds, and compose some music (I'm bringing my instruments).

Robots are fun to make, as it makes photobashing way more fun. Without "organic coherence", its gives me much more freedom to work on initial images, to add parts of cars, cities, zoomed-in ant colonies, and these kind of things to the basic shape to create depth and intricate details, before feeding it to Disco Diffusion. So in a way, there's much more freedom of creation while making robots! And the last stitching and compositing part is also more fun, more "forgiving" when my Gimp skills are lacking!

Sorry for the short post,

I'm not now going to ingest multiple coffees at once, pack my stuff, recharge my field recorder, prepare my study book and Ethica, and leave the world of the internet for a few days. I'll be back with some more ideas and inspiration for some more development on the races, the philosophy behind it, and the societal interests and questions they raise!

That's it for a little writing about this project for today, thanks for sharing your thoughts, or just enjoying the view, or even disliking the view!
